Manwe and Varda

The lord of breath of Arda, the lady of light

Honoring the spirit, gentleness, solidarity, sanctity, authority

At the highest mountain of Valinor, at the highest tower of their palace Manwe and Varda, who are royal couple and together rule the Valar, have their thrones. They are very loyal to each other and very rarely separate. Even when only one of them meets you, the other is surely somewhere nearby, not disturbing, but observing closely.

Their mutual presence greatly increases their abilities and most likely also connects them, so Manwes visions, no matter where he looks are not silent images and Varda not just hears all those prayers and laments, but she also knows, who is speaking to her.

When the night comes, not just the elves worship Varda and beauty of her stars by singing. At night, when the eagles sleep and the wind becomes silent, Manwe begin to do something quite different; even he begins to sing to his wife and because he is Vala and has great knowledge of music, they are songs of untold beauty, sang without words and yet full of them and of images, love songs devoted do his wife, which he loves so much.

And truly Varda listens to his songs and her heart gets very happy every time, when she listens to his so gentle voice. Every time she goes to him, as if she saw him for the first time, as if it was their marriage, and together they dance across the sky, listening to the songs of elves and drawing their songs with light at the sky. These are the times, when the Varda is the most beautiful as she is shining with love.

Both are the most noble among the Valar. Together they teach, that everyone can find own place in this world, where we can feel well and can find our place in this system, be part of the system not just of human culture, but also of the system of entire planet and so adding our part to making this planet better place. Thry remind us, that we will prosper the most among our own people, who are like us and we should, if we find such people, honor them and to be blessing to them, for then they can also be blessing to us. And the same way we should work with the planet and nature, to be grateful for creations of others and appreciate it.

Both royal Valar call for humbles and honesty, through which can our relationships with others become much better, to use our magic well and worthy, to make not just us benefit from it, but also the others, or at least ensure that it do not damage them. That it is necessary to honor and do our best to achieve harmony.
